March 13, 2006 Lacey, WA --- Saint Martin's University standout student-athlete Andy Prentice (Sr., Nine Mile Falls, WA) has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference male Track and Field Athlete-of-the-Week for his outstanding performance at the NCAA Indoor Track-and-Field Championships at Boston. Prentice finished third in the 800 meters in a time of 1:52.66, missing a national title by .51 seconds. He was also selected as the NCAA Division II West Region Indoor male Athlete-of-the-Year earlier in the week.
