January 28, 2006 SEATTLE, WA --- Saint Martin's Andy Prentice posted a provisional national qualifying mark at the Washington Indoor Invitational track and field meet Saturday at the Dempsey indoor facility. Prentice (Sr., Nine Mile Falls, WA), who earlier this month posted a provisional time in the mile, finished 12th in the 800 in a time of 1:51.74, just .44 seconds off the NCAA automatic qualifying time and just .25 seconds off the GNAC record. The Saints next action comes Feb. 11-12 at the Husky Classic and UW Open No. 3.
