March 11, 2008 Livermore, CA – Saint Martin’s posted a three round total of 939 to finish 14th at the 2nd Annual NDNU Invitational held at the Poppy Ridge Golf Course. Hiro Nezu and John Eisentrout finished the tournament tied for 42nd after shooting 231 apiece. Nezu posted a team low round of 75 in the second round. Justin Lanman shot 237 over the two day s to put him in 54th place. Chris Poulakidas shot a 245 and Kevin Jech shot a 247 to place 65th and 68th respectively. Valdosta State University won the tournament edging out CSU Stanislaus by two strokes. Valdosta shot three-under-par as a team in the final round and finished the tournament with a scored of 876. Valdosta also had the individual winner as Brent Witcher fired a twelve-under-par. Witcher set a tournament record with a second round 64 and finished with a 68 in the final round. The Saints’ next tournament will be the Grand Canyon Invitational in Goodyear, AZ.
