March 8, 2008 Lacey, WA – Kris Swanson has resigned from his position as head coach of men’s golf at Saint Martin’s University as announced by Athletic Director Bob Grisham. “I am resigning to pursue my own goals of becoming a PGA professional and devote more time to my game,” said Swanson. Swanson, a graduate of Saint Martin’s, was in his first year at the helm of the program. “I am disappointed to receive Kris's resignation,” said Grisham. “We will immediately move forward to fill the position and allow the new coach the opportunity to recruit for next year.” The search in currently underway to fill the vacancy.
