Men’s Golf: Saints wrap up play at WWU Invitational

Bellingham, WA – Saint Martin’s men’s golf team
posted an 11th place finish at the Western Washington University
Invitational held Monday and Tuesday at the Bellingham Golf and Country
Club.
The Saints shot 903 as a team in the three round
tournament. British Columbia University took first place shooting a team
total of 843; with all five golfers placing in the top 20.
Hiro Nezu was the Saints’ highest finisher in 21st
with a two day total of 221 shooting 75 in rounds one and three and a 71
in round two. John Eisentrout posted a 227 while Justin Lanman shot 231
to finish tied for 53rd. Chris Poulikidas and Olof Rosborg finished the
tournament in 55th and 59th respectively. Poulikidas shot a 232 and
Rosborg a 234.
Sonoma State’s Jarin Todd was medalist for the
tournament coming in with a 208, eight under par.
The Saints will be back in action on October 1st
when they take part in the Grand Canyon Invitational in Goodyear, AZ.
