Men’s Golf: Saints host SMU Invitational

Lacey, WA – Saint Martin’s men’s golf finished
eighth in their SMU Invitational held Friday and Saturday at the Olympia
Golf and Country Club.
The Saints shot 289 in both round to post a two day
total of 578. Sonoma State took the title with a combine score of 551
after shooting 279 in the first round and 272 in the second.
Justin Lanman was the Saints’ highest finisher in
11th place with a two day total of 142. John Eisentrout finished tied
fro 20th after shooting a 70 in round one and 74 in round two. Hiro Nezu
and Chris Poulakidas finished the tournament tied for 27th at 147 while
Olof Rosborg shot 148 to place tied fro 32nd.
Sonoma State’s Jarin Todd, who shot a course record
62, was the medalist for the tournament shooting 129.
The Saints get right back to work as the head to
Bellingham to participate in the Western Washington Invitational
starting Monday.
