Men’s Golf: Saints wrap up season at Stanislaus

Turlock, CA – The Saint Martin’s men’s golf team
wrapped up their regular season play Tuesday with a 16th place finish at
the Stanislaus Buzzini Invitational at the Turlock Golf and Country
Club.
As a team the Saints finished with a two-day total
of 930 after shooting 321 and 306 on day one they came back with a 303
on the final day.
Hiro Nezu was the Saints’ highest finisher tied for
38th after shooting 228. Peter Perkins ended the tournament tied for
44th as he shot a 228.
In 70th place was Olof Rosborg with a 236 while John
Eisentrout, who shot 237, finished tied for 71st. Jacob Logsdon shot 264
over the two days to land in 87th.
Host Cal State Stanislaus won the Invitational with
a team total of 861, as their own Andy Moren and Erick Justesen finished
first and second. Grand Canyon University came in second at 883 followed
by UC San Diego with 889.
