Men’s Golf: Saints struggle at Otter Invitational

Monterey Bay, CA – The Saint Martin’s men’s golf
team had a bit of a rough outing finishing 14th at the Cal State
Monterey Bay Otter Invitational a two-day, three-round tournament.
SMU finished with a team total of 960 after shooting
328, 324, and 308. Peter Perkins was the Saints’ highest finisher with a
total of 233 ending the tournament tied for 29th.
Hiro Nezu was tied for 57 at the end of the final
round with a 241 while John Eisentrout, who shot 242, was tied for 62nd.
Olof Rosborg wrapped up play tied for 69th with a total of 247.
Finishing 73rd shooting 254 was Justin Lanman.
The Saints hope to bounce back in their final
tournament of the year next week as they travel to Turlock, CA to
compete in the Stanislaus-Buzzini Invitational.
