April 10, 2007 Lacey, WA – Kristi Sigafoos and Pat Capone earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player-of-the-Week honors for their efforts this past week. Sigafoos had nine hits in 11 at bats, including going 4-5 in game two against NNU, as the Saints split doubleheaders with Northwest Nazarene and Central Washington. Sigafoos had five doubles and also drove in three runs. Capone received honorable mention for his performance on the mound against Cal State Stanislaus. He threw all seven innings for SMU allowing just three hits in the Saints’ 2-1 win. Capone struck out four and walked two in the outing.
