April 26, 2006 LACEY, WA --- Saint Martin's University second baseman Vince Maughan (Jr., Bellevue, WA – O’Dea & Pierce CC) has been selected as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Maughan had seven hits in 13 at bats and drove in four runs as the Saints won three of four games with conference foe Central Washington University. Also for the Saints, Nate Baker (So., Bothell, WA) had six hits in 14 at bats in the series win against CWU and Adam Siler (Jr., Port Orchard, WA) went five for 13 and recorded a pair of saves in his role as the closer. The Saints (13-23, 5-7 GNAC) begin a four-game home stand on Friday against conference opponent Northwest Nazarene University. Times are set for 1:00pm (Apr. 28) and 12:00pm (Apr. 29).
