Financial aid for transfer students
Saint Martin’s University offers competitive merit and need-based
financial aid packages for transfer students. Merit Scholarships are
awarded based upon your transfer GPA and do not require a separate
application. Need-Based Aid is awarded based upon information from
the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For more

There are some special scholarships available only to
transfer students:
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: $1,000
Awarded to students with a minimum of 3.5 GPA transferring with
an associate's degree, and who are members of Phi Theta Kappa.
Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership is required.
Washington All-Academic Team: $2,500
Awarded to a student who meets the requirements of the Phi Theta
Kappa Scholarship (above) and is named to the All-Washington
Academic Team.
Trustee Scholarship: $28,000
Awarded for four semesters of enrollment at the
University. Two outstanding transfer students entering
the University with Associate of Arts or Associate of
Science degrees are awarded the scholarship each year.
Applicants must be admitted by March 1. Requires a
separate application that will be mailed to those students
who qualify for this scholarship by their admissions counselor.
